Daily Absudity

I like to look at Google News each day to scan the headlines for interesting news. I rarely find anything interesting, but the headlines are Idiocracy in action:
"Lil Wayne Faces Post Prison Challenges, Expert Says" I'm not an expert, but I think it's safe to apply that statement to everyone who was, is, and will be released from prison.
"AIG Posts $200 Million Operating Loss on Bailout-Related Costs" AIG is losing $200 million because they are paying us back for their bailout. Unfortunately our president is spending that $200 million in one day cruising around the globe looking important.
"Early scans cut lung cancer deaths, but at a price" News flash: healthcare is not free. Early scans for any ailment can cut the deaths of that ailment, but it takes technology, electricity, and expertise to run the scanning machines, so you have to pay money to get the scan.
